DwellYard ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Address Search Data

When you use our eligibility checker, we process the property address you enter in order to generate your ADU eligibility report. Address searches are sent to our server and processed using the Google Maps Geocoding API. We may store anonymized search data to improve our service.

Analytics Data

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, browser type, and general location (country/region level). This data does not personally identify you and is used to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not require user accounts, logins, or passwords.
  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers unless you voluntarily contact us.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Google Maps API

Address searches use the Google Maps Geocoding API. All Google API calls are made server-side — your browser does not communicate directly with Google's services. Google's use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies. Vercel Analytics may use minimal, privacy-focused cookies or local storage for analytics purposes. These do not track you across websites.

Data Retention

Anonymized search and analytics data may be retained indefinitely to improve our service. Since we do not collect personal identifiers, there is no personal data to delete.

Third-Party Services

  • Vercel — hosting, analytics, and speed insights
  • Google Maps Platform — server-side geocoding and address autocomplete
  • Neon — database hosting

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
